| Just had to share this! Kevin Best sets up exact reproductions of old master/Dutch painting and then photographs them. These are beautiful! Have a look...

| They are amazing. You would swear that the original art was a photograph; they are so realistic.

| I came across him when I was hunting for an AHM* challenge painting. The little thumbnail image I saw looked like the original painting, but it said by Kevin Best - so I had to go check it out. He must spend a huge amount of time looking for items that look exactly like what's in the paintings (not to mention $$$). He even makes some of the items himself if he can't find them. *it's really easy to wander off-course when trying to find the mystery painting | |

| Callie that's just so amazing and was thinking the same thing you were regarding the items. They look so authentic. The photos really give you a great idea of what the original scene looked like and how the artist interpreted it. | |

| The art comes in when Kevin reproduces replicas of the artifacts featured in the original paintings and of course in his exceptional photographic skill. What he does is assemble a diarahma ( sp?) of artifacts then photographs them. Pretty remarkable. | |
