Duo Mat quick dry medium

Hi everyone

Has anyone had experience using Duo quick dry medium paste? I seem to have a difficult time with gloss glare and would like to work with a matt painting surface instead.

Hi 100rabbits,

There are two: Quick Drying Medium Matte/Gloss Paste. I've used both, but like you, I found the Gloss too shiny. I tried the Matt for impasto work and I also had a hard time working with it. It's not thick enough for impasto and it becomes tacky too quickly. I wish they had little trial tubes in these things so that we don't have to waste our money!

An Holbein tech recommended I use Dorland's Wax Medium with Duo. I'd like to know if anyone has used it with Duo and your experience with it.
