| How many dune paintings are there? Well, three so far, all 6" x 6". This one is on gessoed MDF again. This, the third and theoretically the last of the studies, was painted in an hour or two, wet on wet. The same colours (Titanium White, Cad Yellow Hue, Cad Red Hue, Ultramarine and Raw Umber) but this time using Artisans. Working wet on wet, with Fast Drying Medium, was a new experience for this familiar view. But fun, and challenging. This one is going away this weekend, being donated to a charity fund raiser in the next province. It will have a new home soon. Hope the new owner likes it. | |
