I am glad you are home safe and sound....welcome back. May you get settled quickly and back into your new routine or should I say an old routine?!?

Congratulations on such a beautiful area to live in. Hope you're moved and ready to paint in no time.

Jack,

I wish it only took a day to go from the east coast to the west coast, bu the shortest distance for me is 2600 miles. When I went back in the spring, I took the long way to see family and friends. It was 4200 miles.

The interest thing about Arizona is that I live in the desert, but can drive 45 minutes up the mountain I look at out my kitchen window, and be in snow.

I envy you being on the ocean. I went to Miami on the way home in the Spring and my friend took me down to the bech. I just stood there taking in deep breathes of the salt air. I grew up on the ocean on Long island and moved inland when I was 18 so I miss that wonderful refreshing air.

I can't wait to see what paintings you come up with once you are settled.

60 kids visited us here last night, many more than last year. We ran out of chips and had to shut off the outdoor light. However, kids still knocked on the door, so I had to to explain that we had run out. Good kids here, and lots and lots of very little ones with their parents.

I apologize for not visiting here but I had to finish up the three paintings for the show. I will post them in the WIP and if I get any comments, I will make the last changes tonight.

Looking forward to seeing them. Hope the show goes well.

Been working a lot lately - no time/energy to paint - but I have been lurking in the forums Will get caught up one of these days!

Well, I would be glad to say goodbye to October if I thought that November was going to be much better!   I snuck in a couple of days of painting last week, but was busted when work for the local art league caught up with me.   That winter painting for a Christmas card is probably going to loose all its snow before I get it done!

We did manage to get up in the Big Horn Mountains last Sunday.   Beautiful as usual (and almost always look a bit different).   Took lots of photos.   Judy; I've got my own sun challenge to deal with now!   But I'm not going to even think about starting it until the other two paintings get done and the art league crunch is over.
