| Hello All, I started out with my Self-Portrait, and was trying out new paint combination and that turned into a disaster, so I scrapped it. So before moving on to new portrait, I decided to do this landscape, with the left over paint. This landscape is a little from imagination and little from another picture/painting. Nope haven't headed out into the world yet... "soon" is the word... . I did this work spread over several hours. (keeping things painterly). All constructive feedback are welcome. PLEASE don't hold back. Size: 5" x 7" Time: 3 hours. | |

| You're coming along beautifully. The gradation of the sky helps me feel the depth. The shadows in the sand are very effective in making me feel like I can cross the sand and climb the bank to look out further into the distance. The shadows also have very nice mixture of values and colors. Very nice! | |

| This is a really good one Faisal! I love the dunes, especially the shadowed pink and blue tones on the sand. The trees kind of startle me, as where I live, there are no trees like those around our dunes. So the 'internal editor' in me keeps erasing the trees (sorry) and putting in billowing clouds. Then I feel right at home!
(this one will sell no problem..)

| Thanks Allan for the feedback. LOL! I know what you mean by the internal Editor. Yes! there are trees like this in Texas, around our lakes and ponds (sort off, don't open your botany books... ) . I think they were artificially planted. Once again, I truly appreciate the feedback... | |

| I like this one a lot, Faisal. The trees don't bother me as I've seen sandy, almost desert-like plains with the sand blown into dune shapes and there were also stubby trees.
