| Finally got my latest painting finished and posted to FineArtAmerica. It was based on a photo I took of monsoon clouds at sunset east of the Catalina Mountains. The most interesting thing is that this is the eastern sky, not the western sky where the sun was actually setting. I never experienced this before or paid attention to this fact until I recently read that there is such a thing as a double sunset and that is exactly what I was seeing. The mission wall is also based on a photo I took at a friend's ranch near by. I'll post the photo of the sunset in the landscape photo section of the forum.
