| Hi, I'm Marie and I have done about 4 water soluble oils. I really enjoy working with them and find that they are true to color and very smooth. I enjoy Holbein brand and plan to do more work this Winter when I spend a great deal of time indoors. This looks like the start of a great informative and friendly group. Regards, Marie | |

| Marie, Welcome to the forum! I use the Holbein brand as well and find them great. I've used several different brands but keep going back to the Holbein. They just seem to suit my painting style better. | |

| Hi! I also paint with water soluble oils - Van Gogh to be exact. I only use water as medium usually, sometimes I use special water mixable oil (a little into the water). Leena | |

| Hi Leena! Welcome! The Van Gogh brand is the only one I haven't tried yet. I'm looking forward to getting a hold of some to give them a try. Hi Judy! I'm sooo glad you're with me. I felt the same way regarding the politics that's why I built this site as I felt the members on the other site were getting a little fed up with all the drama and disrespect. How's your arm? | |

| Hi Janet, Happy to be here. my arm is doing well except for having this big cast on it for 11 days. Of course Mozart doesn't help. He decided that he had to be right in the middle of things while I was trying to type this. He is good company, though and makes me laugh. Judy | |

| I see the orthopedist on 11/23 and then hopefully I won't have anything on. I'm using the fingers a lot for light work so they should be in good shape by then except for still being numb until the sensory nerves grow back.
I'm going to put a link to this forum on my website and do a blog entry on it also so maybe more people will be aware of it.

| Hi Leena, Welcome to the forum. Do you have a website or blog where you show some of your work? I'd love to see it. If you do and need help setting up your signature at the bottom of the page that can be a link to it. I would be happy to help you. Judy | |

Hi Marie, So glad you have joined us. There is so much for us to share both as people experienced in WMO and those that are new so feel free to add whatever you want whether it be a question or a suggestion, or just to show off your work. Judy | |

| Hi everyone! I'll be out of town today. I'm hoping to get some good landscape photos but my photography skills are terrible. If I have any that turn out I'll share them. Have a great day! | |

| Hi, Judy! I have three websites actually, LOL. www.leenashorses.com (don't paint much horses these days) http://ancient-egyptian-art.blogspot.com/ (just started that one - am trying to paint enough to get an exhibition done of my Egyptian paintings. and a site that has nothing to do with painting but short stories: http://www.inspirational-short-stories.com Writing has always been one of the things I enjoy, so I decided to put up a site for it - working on it takes a lot of time, though, but I like it. Last month I had already 7000 individual visitors and 25.000 pages read so I suppose someone out there likes my stories. I always had a hard time deciding did I like painting or writing more, so now I do them both. Leena | |

| Leena,
Thanks for the links. I looked at you horse one. You are very talented. I love all your horses and, being a cat person, I absolutely adore your Jazz Cat. I'll check out the two other ones later.
You should put these into your signature so they show up each time you post. You can do that by clicking on"Profile" and then click on "Signature" in the horizontal menu at the top. Use the Link button to putt them in. If you need help, let me know.
