|  I found the invite to join this forum today and am so glad I did. I'm a mixed media fiber artist, I've just started working with oils again after a 15 year hiatus. I'm teaching oil painting at the local art center and am using WMO's. I left oils due to the turps etc. causing migranes. My true area of specialty is natural dyes, earth pigments, rust dyeing, ochers, making paints from scratch etc. You can check out my website to see my work http://www.kbaxterpackwood.com Here's a pic of a recent piece, I was trying out some paints, it's a pre-stretched cotton canvas. As you can see I love abstract and a very thick stroke. In this piece, White Peony, I was just messing around becoming familiar with these particular paints note that this is acrylic not oil for some reason I haven't photographed my oil paintings, but I will try to cure that this weekend.  My biggest problem with WMO's (Artisans) is I'm not able to purchase amounts other than the large tube, pints or quarts would be wonderful addition to my studio!  | |
