I know this is a little early, but I've been taking a digital calligraphy course and one of our assignments was to make a card for the holidays so hereit is. Hope you are all doing well and have not been overtaken by the artic cold.

What a beautiful card AND my favorite color! You have some fantastic holidays, too, Judy!

It's beautiful and one of my favorite colors also!

Got my Christmas early as I went to the Art of the Carolinas Trade show and even though I said I didn't need anything (true), I ended up buying 6 of the http://www.dickblick.com/products/princeton-catalyst-polytip-bristle-brushes/ which are supposed to be so good for oil painting. Just got home a little while ago so haven't tried them but plan to try them tomorrow or Monday! Will let you know how they work.

Thanks Crystal and Jan. I read that link to the brushes, and they sound like they would be a really good replacement for people who like bristle brushes, but have trouble with bristle sogginess when too much water is used.

Keep us posted and perhaps write a review in "Painting Discussions" under Water Soluble Oils.
