Should there be some slight variation in background or supporting structure such as table, since there is such a definite light source?

Maybe a label on the bottle, something like 'Faisal' Smile
Seriously, I see your paint strokes opening up, loosening up, which is making your paintings stronger!
cool!!

Judy,… the floating bottle was purposely done,… sort of like a mystery… Just trying new things…. hence a study.

Alan,… I agree it seems like something is missing, without the label, but this was already a very tiny study 4x4 and I did this in an hour… However, I hope you don't mind me stealing this lovely idea of yours for my next painting where I will label the bottle Faisal or something with my name and post it on DPW for sale… I will definitely acknowledge you in my posts at DPW… Are you OK with that? Smile

Ha ha, be sure to use a nice script font for your first vintage. Smile

I like the concept but agree it's a little disconcerting to see it "floating". I like the idea of the label too!
