Hello My friends…

You must admit the excitement, for the holidays, is in the air and it is awesome. we had a few days of cold weather in Dallas, when we had the opportunity to light the fireplace. We got together with friends over thanksgiving. It was great. Let the festivities begin… Smile.

I did this over a few days. Size is 5" x 7". Please give me your feedback. No holding back… Smile

What a great painting! I did spot the difference as it makes a huge difference imho. The painting just looks more finished with the shadow in the right place and you've done a great job with it.

So glad you had a good Thanksgiving. We did too and have also had some abnormally cold weather. Supposed to warm up a bit though.

Keep on painting - you're very close to that 100th painting!

Hi Jan,

First of all, where have you been hiding? Thanks for the feedback, I value your feedback a lot, because you say it as it is… Smile

Thanks

I happen to like your work very much and usually find very little "wrong" with it - you're an awesome painter!

I had some problems with the cataract surgeries I had during October and couldn't see up close for over a month and that's the only reason I haven't been here. Haven't painted either. Now I'm in the midst of trying to find the right solution for me for seeing up close - distance vision is 20/20 now after being legally blind without glasses for all of my life! When I get that sorted out, I'll be back painting!

I had to search hard to find the one flaw in this perfect painting. You always make everything feel like you could just take it in your hands and admire it. Beautifully done. Glad you are both back. Hope you get to paint again real soon, Jan
