| Next post is a snapshot of a 6" x 6" study, walking trail. This is the usual Artisan oils on canvas, intended for donation to a fund raiser. Forty five minutes, painted from photo. | |

| I will sign it in a week or so, once the surface has dried. I am considering leaving the year off my signature now. | |

| Saw it on Facebook, too. I like it. Good perspective. | |

| Thanks for your comments Faisal and Judy. It was fun to paint that quick sketch. My firm instruction to myself was not to 'fuss' with it, or go back over anything too much. I mostly obeyed myself, but of course my critical side wants to mess around with the fence. But no, no way | |

| Wow. I really like the looseness of this. You did a lot of good work in 45 minutes. | |

| Thanks Crystal. I was in 'full stride' I guess. But 'loose-limbed'~ | |

| I'm glad you didn't mess with the fence. It is perfect...very rustic and looks like it has been aroun for many seasons. | |

| Thanks Judy. I wanted to stick with my intention, which was to do a quick oil sketch, with little actual detail, more of a suggestion of detail. It is good practise for me to 'leave it alone' too.
This quick sketch is/was intended as a donation toward a charitable auction. But there is little news of this auction event, and it will/would be about 3 weeks away. We shall see: I will hang on to the painting until it is confirmed, in case there is no auction after all.
