I started off with my normal pink primed canvas. Roughed in the sky, cloud formation, sea and water covered sand. Pleased at that stage. Then roughed in the three figures. That made the cloud formation wrong. Fiddled round with that and have now decided to settle down in front of it with a glass of wine or two. Once upon a time I would have also lit a cigarette.

The wine sounds great, and I'm really happy that the cigarette is no longer a choice. Actually, I can see where the clouds are not working. It kind of looks like the woman on the right is doing the smoking for you. I like the idea of the pink under painting. To me beaches always seem to have pink under tones in them.

Hope the wine was good and you're ready to continue .
