Art Prints

No matter how hard I try to be abstract, I still get stuck in realism sort of. I definitely went abstract on the colors, and maybe a little freer with brush strokes.

Very Nice! Judy... love the foggy look and the bright colors.

Nice painting Judy. You can call this an abstracted landscape! Very attractive and saturated.

Thank you all. I have people say it remind them of the sky during a wild fire, so I've called it "Sky on Fire." I was going to add some flying birds, but they would have to be flying off the canvas which wouldn't be good.

Gorgeous colors in this. I wouldn't call it an abstract but then I never know what to call some painting styles. Does it even need to be called a definite style? Whatever it is is lovely.

Thanks Jan. It started out as an abstract using flow maps to create a blend of colors following specific patterns (much like applying mask to the canvas to form a pattern before applying the water color), As the soft forms took shape, though, this landscape emerged.
