I just realized I'd forgotten to post the completed painting of the flower I did the wip of. Here it is.

Completed Tiare Flower Tiaref10

Right before the final couple of glazes, I realized the painting was too cool looking so I warmed up the lavender with a bit more red and also added more of the orangey-gold on the petals. I followed Judy's advice and added a bit of green to the petals closest to the leaves.

I'm still working on the second flower but hope to finish it soon.

Coming along beautifully.. waiting for the next flower.. Smile (maybe you can put your name at the top, it is sort of distracting from the painting).

Beautiful.

I love how you warmed up the colors in the flower and that slight touch of green underneath brought it all together. Can't wait to see the next one.

Judy

Thank you, Crystal!

Faisal, I always watermark my paintings when I post them online as I've had stuff "stolen" and try to thwart future thievery by watermarking in a place that is noticeable. Since this forum is open to anyone who wants to visit, I advise all artists here to watermark their art as well as post only small, low resolution photos of it.

Thanks, Judy. Your tip about the green reflected light was a big help.

Thanks, Alan!
