Today, the only painting I did was to sign 2 paintings.
I used Artisan paints (same as I painted with) and added Fast Dry Medium.
One signature went okay, but I wasn't happy with the second one. So I rubbed it off with thinner (held my breath, hoping I would not rub off the painting too)
and was much happier with my second try.
I like to use block letters for my signature; I have just been doing that for so long that it is my 'way', I guess. But I have noticed that I tend to sign my name too small on larger paintings. So today, I went with a bigger brush, with block letters about .25" high.
What do you do to sign your paintings, everyone? Do you paint your signature wet on wet; do you use a scraper (not a brush) to scratch your name on the canvas, and do you always sign your name the same way?
