While I'm sharing my digital paintings, I thought I show you this one. I was taking a holiday open studio course in November and December and this was one of the paintings I did for that course. I used the buttery oil brushes on this also. I developed my own brush to create a feeling of frost on the window panes. The scene reminded me so much of those early mornings in the winter back east when the windows were covered with these beautiful patterns before double paned windows. I guess I miss that being in the southwest in the winters, but it sure was pretty.

Hope you like it.

Judy

This is very lovely Judy,... I feel the brrr!!! Like the cool colors... I like what you have done to capture the ice pattern on the window.

Keep on painting!

This one sure is accurate! It is -29 here today with wind chill. Nice (ICE!) work Judy. Your colours are very 'cool' too. Smile Keep up the nice work.

Sorry to hear about your -29. We just got through a week of nights down to 19 F and 40 in the daytime. We're supposed to be 40 and 60 this time of year. I shouldn't complain. At least I escape the bitter cold of the NE US for the winter.

Keep warm.

Sorry that I haven't been around for awhile. This is absolutely gorgeous Judy. Love it. Brings back memories for me, too.

Thanks Crystal,

It has been a busy winter of learning to use Corel Painter as a substitute for traditional painting. It really is fun and challenging and as I progress with it, I feel just like I have a real paint brush in my hand.

Glad to ee you back.

Thanks Jan,

I think the best part was creating the brush to produce the frost effect. Good to see you back.
