| Here's the first few hours into Shediac Dune. I've had time to get to know the view. Two of the three paint colour studies (6" x 6") are placed on the easel in front to give a size comparison. I am working with bigger brushes for the 24" x 36" version, of course. But there is still a lot of learning going on while I adjust to the larger scope, the amount of paint required, and how the painting looks from a distance. | |

| A few hours today resulted in me scraping away some of what I did yesterday, and repainting and extending the size of the shadowed sand. I didn't like the brush strokes from yesterday, so I went with a much bigger brush and stronger hits of colour. Lots more to do but that will wait until another day. | |
