| I've been working in Corel Painter 11 on the computer and did this painting which I am now repainting in WSO's. Here is the computer version. Yesterday I started the WSO version on a 24 x 30" stretched canvas. I toned the canvas with permanent rose and raw sienna and then started blocking in shapes. Here's what it looks like this morning. | |

| Wonderful Start Judy... . Can't wait to see your finished stuff. I loved your last landscape and the creativity you put into it, where you turned suburbia into a cactus landscape and the dramatic sunset. Very nice. Thanks Faisal Tariq | |

| Here is yesterday's work. I made a few revisions in rock areas and put in blocks of green. | |

| Hi Faisal, I really don't know how much time. I just paint until I decide it is time to take a break and get caught up on what else is on my to-do list. It is probably about 2 hours, I guess. I didn't work on it at all today, but that is OK because I want take some zinc white and scrumble over the sky, distant mountains and trees along the ridge to set them back in the distance more and it helps having the paint fairly dry when I do that.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. Judy | |

| Here's the next phase. I worked on putting the sky, mountains and trees more in the distance. I worked on more rock detail and more of the greens in the rocks. There is still a long way to go...the water will be the very last major area I will work on once everything else is done. | |

| Finally making progress again. I've been a little too busy to work on recently but there is an update. I think I am close to getting ready to work on the waterfalls finally. | |

| I finally did it. The painting is done and hanging in a special place in my home. It was quite interesting working from the computer painting I had originally done and I did make a few changes but basically I tried to follow the composition and color I had developed on the computer. Judy | |

| Hi Judy This has come a long way from the previous photo. I love the density of the colour that you achieved in the rock and water at the base of the falls. And the central rock, such sharp edges. Congratulations on this one!! | |

| Thanks Alan. That central rock is my very most favorite one. Judy | |
