To me, this gentleman's paintings are just delicious!   Course, I'm a detail type person and there is beautiful detail in his paintings.   But beyond that he shows how to create great moods in a painting also.   I believe those moody feelings could well be translated to oils (WSO's, of course Smile).   It's a Northlight book, but I couldn't find it on their site, so it may be out of print.   However it is available via Amazon and Alibris.

I was able to view a few preview pages on Amazon. From that viewing, this looks like a valuable resource. Thanks for the information Jim!
