 Geraniums in Window

This is a painting that was done in acrylic and was so-so. I used w/s oils and made the flowers pop. Now I need to work on the left backgroundd to give it some interest without losing the contrast.

Dale, very pretty painting! I love the variation in color. I'm no expert but it feels like it could use something on the right of the painting on the shelf to give it some balance. Smile

Thanks Janet - I agree with you. That is why it is so useful to show this to fresh eyes. I will add something that balances but does not detract...hmmm.

I like the flower and the background and the bare table - it's the part outside in the upper portion of the window that doesn't work for me.
