This piece, I did because I just love the snow and just wanted to paint a snow scene, as it is my first time painting one....I thought it depicted a warm feeling also, hence the namd Winter Warmth....please feel free to give your insight and wisdom to help me grow. Thank you, Dana

Dana,

It definitely gives a feel of warmth and a very inviting path through the snow. Nice job.

Another of your country roads, Dana! I really like the way you've brought the warmth into a snow scene. Smile

You ask for insight and wisdom. OK. Here goes. Sky, snow, background trees, the tracks in the snow - great. The fence I find too stark, too much of a contrast and detracts from the warmth which you have tried to generate. If you were to mute the wooden fencposts then you would have, I think, a most inviting pictures which could be converted into a magnificent Christmas card.
Having said that, all I have done recently is to remain static, and receding slightly into obscurity

Jack, Thank you....I do love imput how else do I grow.

Why have you stayed static....receding somewhat obscure? Is everything okay? I hope you are enjoying painting. Do take care and I hope things are going well for you.

Dana

I really like this, Dana! Usually I only like snow scenes in the summer when it's too hot! I love the way you've worked so much warmth into the scene...I might actually not mind the snow on such a warm day! Your work just seems to get better and better. Thanks for sharing it.

Great tones in the snow. Must have taken a long time to get such great detail and colour.
The sky colours are wonderful too. Very alive!
