Better late than never. here it is half way through the month and I'm just getting to this. I've been busy traveling across country so I didn't quite have the time. If you have any to contribute, feel free to put it here. We can all laugh together or make positive remarks if we don't agree that the painting should be Down the Drain.

Here is a painting I did, but sure looks like an old fogie (sp) did it.....so i am calling it down the drain.

I don't know about an old fogie (??) but the woods sure looks inviting with all those beautiful fall colors and birch trees. I wonder if the person is a shut in longing to get out and walk in the woods. Can I just unlatch the windows (or better yet) the doors and let them out?

Judy, I think that's it.....it's like being trapped, shut-in, wow great observation. Thank you for your insight.

Well, I hope you're not really throwing it away. It invokes a lot of emotion, and I think that's what "Art" is all about. Great work!

Dana,

You really should post the same painting in "completed paintings." It really deserves to be there and shared with more people.
