How's every one holding up in the heat? July Down the Drain Drunken_smilie Cool off and share one of your paintings that could go down the drain if you let it.

We have had very warm weather for Seattle (yesterday 98) -- although I worked in semi air conditioning yesterday, today I am home trying to get caugh-up on the to do list of things, hoping to paint some today if I can stay cool....my daughter just got back from a road trip -- through Yellowstone going to Salt Lake, I am going to check out her pictures from my camera....I know she has an artists' eye.

The picture with the window and the purple table -- I had a plant on the table and didn't like it, so removed it, now I am not sure what to do with it....maybe a book opened face down?

Dana, The Yellowstone pics were gorgeous. I sent you a PM regarding comments.

Looking at this painting, the table feels like it is slanting down and might be why the plant did not look right. Also the shadow line should not be on the wall. It should actually start some place on the table taking into account that the wall under the window is blocking the the light on the part of the table closest to the wall. I hope I'm making sense.

Once you correct the window light on the table, then putting something on the table will work, but not before hand. Hope tyht helps.

Here is a "very rough" suggestion of how to improve the table and light from the window. Judy

Dana nice concept! I think a bouquet of flowers would look very nice. Smile
