This one is now finished, ready for varnishing and framing. Goes into an exhibition in August. Fingers crossed for a sale. The sentinel The+sentinel

Kopo,

The painting is wonderful. The colors just add so much to the whole scene taking what could be very ordinary and making extraordinary. Good luck with the exhibit.

Thank you Janet, thank you Judy. This is a painting which after the first disenchantment once I knew where I was going, it became a joy to work on. The music I played and which was inspirational was by Francis Lai who composed the scores for many films.
Wishing you well and thanks again.

I love the colors you used. And the figures and clothing folds are wonderful. Fantastic job.

Kopo –

Beautiful work, your figures are gracefully elegant and the painting is very charming. Thank you for showing your completed piece. It is a joy to view.

Congratulations on another success! I love how all your paintings seem to have some mysterious story going on. The sentinel Icon_cheers

Thank you Callie. I'm old enough to remember books with covers created by artists and they always intrigued me. Eventually finding out through reading the book what part of the story the cover related to. I don't know if it is the correct term but I call it narrative painting.
Thanks again
Jack

This painting has really turned out nicely, Jack. I love the light, fluid movement, and colours. Smile
