| WIP - Peony No. 3 - Yes BON I can paint photo realism, I had to step away yesterday because I was turning into mud and doing a bang up job of it as well. Oh and I forgot to add anything to thin my oils, oh happy day. Water Soluble Oil on Canvas 12x16 inches | |

| I like the composition - big and bold, taking up the whole canvas. It's going to be beautiful! What colours are you using? | |

| It doesn't appear muddy. I like the boldness of it. My goal is to someday paint some flowers right off the canvas like you did. Judy | |

| Great composition, and the colors don't look muddy at all. I love the sense of drama/movement - it seems like a much larger painting. I hope you don't "fuss" with it too much - the brush work's looking good! | |

| Thank you Callie, I have a few highlights I need to it add yet, I've set it aside while I work on The Girls of Summer a mixed media piece, which is below. It's ink on watercolor paper with conte and gouache, so far. | |

| The colored background dresses up what could be a plain painting, although the faces of the cows draw my attention. I hope you maintain their expressions. Judy | |

| Personally I'd love nothing more than to leave the cows as is, but they are driving my husband nuts so I may experiement on another piece of paper and revisit this one in the very near future. Kimberly | |

| Kimberly, Love the scale and the boldness of your flowers. What size is your canvas? ...I am looking forward to seeing more and the continued development of your painting – looks like a great piece, which will show well on a wall – Thank you for sharing. | |
