I was just wondering what you feel the benefits are to using Water Soluble Oils. Smile

For me it's convenience. I don't have any health issues - and I really like the smell of turpentine Why do you use Water Soluble Oils? Drunken_smilie, but I don't like all the bottles, jars, cans... letting the sludge settle, decanting the used turps, arranging the hazardous waste pick-ups...

Makes it easier to paint in public places since there's no worry about smells/allergies.

Callie, I think a lot of people are under the misunderstanding that only people with health issues turn to Water Soluble Oils. You brought up some good points. Thank you!

I chose them because they clean up easily and solvents give me migraines. I like the idea I've being able to use just water as an option to thin my paint. I use to work with acrylics fot the same reasons but was not able to blend in the way that I wanted. Smile
