This is a portrait I'm struggling with. My problems are the eyes. The eyeball is convex but in my paintings they look flat just pasted on. Grrrrr. Could she have her eyes shut I wonder??? Or, I might do better if I shut my eyes. Definitely going to make it work though.
When it is finished it might be called 'Is he good enough for my daughter?'
Knowing you, Jack, you'll make it work and she'll be just beautiful. Right now she does look a bit concerned - could be she doesn't want you shutting her eyes.

My sentiments exactly. I think she is afraid she might end up with a third one if you shut yours.
