This is another Road in my "Journey" series I don't have a name yet - any suggestions would be great. I would like to paint another fall road in the series, but don't have one in mind yet. I would like to do a road in the rain also...any one have any pictures which you wouldn't mind me using?

Your thoughts on what this picture needs?
It is on a 24X18 canvas

Dana, I moved this from the Sticky to its own topic called Fall Journey. Stickies are generally for instructions only. To start a new topic like this one, just click on the button "New Topic" just under "Home" on the top of this page. The painting is beautiful. I love the tree colors. If this is a completed painting, it should probably be in "Completed Paintings." If you are still working on it, then it belongs here.

You might want to read http://watersolubleoils.forumotion.com/general-chat-f4/forum-news-and-announcements-t140.htm
It summarizes all the different areas of the forum and might be helpful to you.

Well, you can tell I don't usually spend too much time on the web on forums, as I am not too good navigating them, but I will learn, please be patient with me and I just down load the information on where what goes where so I will know (thank you for letting me know), but I think that isn't the problem, it's learning how to get the things where they belong. Please, forgive me when i mess-up I will keep trying and hopefully not bother others as I do. Hopefully maybe give them a laugh or two. Dana

Don't worry about it. We all had a learning curve, even the moderators, and we are still learning. We all laugh at ourselves and laugh with each other, not at each other. You'll get it. The amazing thing is that you are getting ppictures posted without a problem. That is the thing that give most people a hard time.

another on your journey series! Very nice, Dana. This painting looks almost complete. The only thing I can think is to change the values of the trees that are further back to give your painting more depth.

Dana, Great painting! I love the fall colors in your painting and I think what Sofie pointed out about depth is a great suggestion. Smile
