| This is just part of an amazing tree I found on one of my morning walks in St Kilda. It's 20x30 canvas, with a wash of lemon yellow and magenta mixed. I first drew it in water colour pencil, then went over the final drawing with my art pens. I've just washed in the green. | |

| Fascinating tree-limb structure. I can see why you were attracted to it.

| Good name. It looks really intriguing how the branches bend and curl around each other.

| Did you pencil out the tree first, then do a wash in the tree color, then paint in the blue...if so must of taken some time to get the blue colored in....looking great, can't wait to see the next step....Dana | |

| Sofie, I love the weighting of the green leaves.versus the branches, it is creating such interesting shapes, and then the pockets of blue sky. This is one of those paintings that a person can look at for a long time, and enjoy exploring... thanks for posting this! | |

| An intriguing work. It does remind me of wall carvings in an Indian temple, very sensuous. It certainly draws attention. Congratulations. Jack | |
