Snowy Sunset in the Desert

Very nice - especially where the mountain fades into the clouds. I like how you were able to get the foreground to look like all that scrubby desert stuff - nice color variations in there, and your sand looks great, too!

I tried to carry the color of the mountains int the foreground, although it is just hinted at. It is more visible in the original. Last evening at sunset the mountain was covered with clouds and just peaking out a little at a time. The treat was that there was a double rainbow arching across the mountain.

definately get the feeling of distance

Here is that same view out my back yard at sunset as the initial one I showed you of the pink mountain. This time though, there are thick clouds completely covering the view of the mountains to the east. The sun was just sneaking under the clouds to the west.
