| I'm trying out the image up-loading - I think I got it ! This was done from life (2.5 hours), 10 x 14 inches on canvas panel: " border="0" alt=""/> I usually start with a drawing and build up layers of paint/glazes, so this (painting alla prima) was a fun change - like plein air painting - no time to fuss with it, just get it done! | Wow Callie! I love it! The form is wonderful! Great brushwork! I love the way you handled the reflections of the apple on the blue glass. | |

| Great job for alla prima! That apple in the foreground is particularly well done. These quick studies do a lot for your progress as an artist. A lot of my plein air paintings turn out less than perfect, but they have accelerated my learning curve tremendously. | |
