A couple of quick (half an hour to 45 minutes) watercolour paintings I did last week, in a city park. I was sitting in one of those camp chairs, with a portable watercolour kit, bottle of water and some sunscreen. Fun to try to work on these outdoor paintings. I learn a lot from giving myself challenges, ha ha

Well done Alan and good for you painting en plein aire! I just can't bring myself to do that - maybe because I suck at landscapes or maybe because our weather seems to be either cold and wet or exceedingly hot and humid!

Hi Jan, thanks for your comment; my wife and I are getting outdoors once in a while to paint; it's great practise in trying to compose an image from real life, instead of 'just' using a photo. Which we do 90% of the time anyway. Sunscreen and bug repellant are helpful...
