 Tall Ship Painting

PostSubject: Tall Ship Painting   Fri Sep 18, 2015 6:06 pm

Just completed another painting for my September art class. When I was finished, I decided that he sails looked pretty boring so I did a watercolor wash on another layer of multiple soft pastel colors and then applied it to the sails. I was really exctied withhow it just brought the painting to life. See it below.

Thanks Faisal. I got brave and put a watercolor layer over the sails to liven them up.

I like the colors you've incorporated into the sails - it just makes the painting. Beautiful!
