Just finished my first assignment for the new Painter 2016 class. Used only three brushes for the whole painting and all of them were new ones for me. It was all done without any reference pictures, just from my imagination. See below.

Really nice, Judy! I like the colors but wonder about the the splatters being used for all of the foliage.

I like your imagination!

I kind of agree , but we were only allow to pick 5 brushes from the new ones and commit to them. None of the others would work at all for foliage so I had to make due. I appreciate the input, though.

The clouds are really wonderful! The added restraints of the limited number of brushes must be challenging!

I',m working on some revisions using some addition brushes that I am use to. I'll post when it is done.

I didn't realize you were limited with your brushes. The painting is good - just that it looks sort of "Microsoft Paint digital" with dots for the foliage. That's not a put-down, when Paint is all you have, you use it. I just knew you usually had more realistic tools at your disposal.

No need to apologize. I appreciate your input. I wasn't real happy with it either, but as soon as I finish these two courses I'm taking, I'm going to rework it to improve it.
