Fall Birch Trees Empty
PostSubject: Fall Birch Trees   Fall Birch Trees EmptyWed Sep 03, 2014 11:05 pm

Having a great time with my two digital art classes learning the new particle brushes that Corel came out that are very unique and have quite a learning curve. Th birch tree painting was our assignment for the first week. I feel like these new brushes are really loosening me up because it takes quite a bit of learning in how to control them to do what you want.

Go on Youtube and you'll see lots of demos of the new brushes . This is one that totally fascinated me.

This is really "loose & lovely" and I like it. Those touches of purple really make the painting. I went somewhere online to read about the new brushes but don't really know what they do. You're sure making the best of them though!

I really like the spirit of freedom in this, the 'riot of color', it swerves between realism and impressionism in such a nice way!

Thank you for all the comments. This so much fun. I just feel so free. I've always been so detailed and tight in my painting. This is a whole new world of creativity for me
