| Please see images below
It is my first try with Water soluble oils. They are very little paintings, 5X7, for my kitchen. I am new to WSO, and new to painting, and I have a lot to learn.

| Thank you very much Jan, it's very kind of you. I like WSO very much, it was difficult at beginning because with Holbein Duo water soluble oil it was sticky and gummy. But I tried with Artisan water soluble oil and it is almost perfect. I can barely compare with traditional oil, because I have made only 2 paintings with TO, but it is almost similar. Maybe TO are a little easier because not sticky at all. WSO are perfect with Artisan thinner, but for upper layers, with water soluble oil, even with Artisan's it is a little gummy. Anyway I like WSO a lot, and my asthma too!
Again, sorry for my English, and my eventual mistakes, I am french. | |

| WOW! You have been busy, and all of the paintings are outstanding. You have a very good understanding of shape, color and texture. Thank you for sharing these. They are excellent. | |

| Very good job. I like the strawberries the most. Keep painting… the more you paint the better you get, and that my friend is the "secret sauce" to everything… . I too enjoy painting small, as I can finish quickly complete a work in one or two sitting and at the same time improve my skills. I would make a suggestion on "edges". Don't treat all edges the same. i.e. make some edges hazy and some sharp, this mimics how we see and does not seem like cut-outs. Try seeing some paintings of the modern master and see how they treat the edges and that would help a lot. | |
