| Another 15 minute study, same model. It took me longer to get started on this one, so I lost time on the shadows. Didn't get them done. That's the test on this life posing stuff | |

| Had the luxurrrrry of 20 minutes in this painting, same model. Time enough to look at her left leg over and over, and swear that it was too long, but painting what I see... | |

| Hi Judy Thanks for compliments! I am practising the face and figure these days so I can eventually get into full colour figure painting. I was heading in that direction at this time last year, when the Brittle Hill comic project came along. | |

| More super studies. I don't think the left leg is too long in the last one - I think it's the perspective that makes it seem so. | |

| Thanks for your comment, Jan. It is my biggest challenge in life drawing; getting the proportions right. The old 'hold up the pencil and squint' works okay, but the model sits fairly close, so I need a larger pencil, ha ha.
Incidentally, not sure if you (all) do this, but I wiped these paintings off after photographing them, and will reuse the MDF for some outdoor landscape sketches, hopefully soon while the weather holds.
